Hello all, I am running the latest build (1970) on a week old mbpc2duo 17", Installed xp pro and a couple of proprietary apps for my business, however when i went to load qb 2005, I get an error msg immediately after the install starts stating qb was unable to load flash player 7, please go to fp7 website and download and continue, well after doing that it still stops with the same error msg, any suggestions? I would hate to have to reboot just for quickbooks,, thx keith
I don't have a solution for you. However, I have no problems running QB 2006 on Win XP Pro in Parallels (same build as you). If you can't get your problem figured out then this may be a workaround.
I'm having much the same problem. Which, given that QuickBooks is the main reason I use Windows at all, is kind of annoying. Were you actually able to find Flash Player 7 and install it? All I could get the adobe site to show me was version 9, and installing it made no difference as far as installing QB Pro 2005 goes.
