Questions about upgrading to Parallels 7

Hello,

I'm considering upgrading to Parallels 7 since the new functionality seems pretty attractive. However I have some questions:

1. On this page it is said that student license is eligible for free upgrading to Parallels 7. The question is how to get a student license (either Parallels 6 or Parallels 7)? I didn't see such an option in the Parallels store.

2. I found that there's no way can I tell whether a reseller is an "authorized reseller". For example, is Amazon.com an authorized reseller?

I bought Parallels 6 from Amazon in August and qualified for the free upgrade to 7. I'm not sure about the student license.

Costs??

I switched from VMWare to Parallels 6 in March, 2011. Now there is version 7 that is available for upgrade. Do you feel that this price is fair after owning 6 for only 6 months? I am really interested in upgrading to take advantage of the increased graphics memory because I run CAD applications on it (that are not available on the Mac). Is there options for this and not just a purchase on 30 days or less?
