I'm starting a new High School Video Production class in a couple of months, and I have some software questions.

I want to know if you know of anyone using the Pinnacle 14 Studio Collection on a Mac using Parallels 5? Via Windows XP, Vista or 7.

Right now, I'm trying to buy only Macs, because we also will be using Final Cut Pro. We would like to use both softwares on one computer to cut cost.

I'd love to hear any ideas that anyone has. Am I crazy to try this? Is there other software solutions I should be looking at?

    Thanks for you answers!

    HI DOUG G

This doesn't answer your question exactly but.

Under the one of first additions of parallels I ran Pinnacle Studio 10. It worked just fine, I just never updated Pinnacle, because I started using iMovie.
