Dear Parallels Team (and members of this forum), I want to begin by saying that I absolutely love Parallels. It has made my purchase of my first macintosh one that I will never regret. My question is simple.... Is there hope that in the not-so-distant future you folks will be able to modify the software to support high-end graphic capabilities including 3D gaming and Aero in Windows Vista? Basically, I just want to know if this is a total impossibility or an effort that you feel can be accomplished. Look forward to all responses.
. I would bet a brick to London on one thing. You wont get an answer from Paralells. Your question is a lot like asking Ford what their plans currently are for the 2008 model lineup, or a politition's strategy for the next election. Parallels have said they plan to enable 3D graphics in 3.0, which is currently stated to be coming this year. .
Yeah, now that you mention it, I totally agree with you. I *suppose* my question really should have been whether it is ever going to be possible, in the near future, for full 3D graphic support with Parallels or if this is an impossible task. Judging by your answer, it seems that we are even closer than expected. Really, this software is unbelievably amazing -- perhaps the best piece of software ever designed for those of us switching over from a PC to a MAC. There are just a few slight annoyances (lack of full USB support, limited hard drive and memory allocation and lack of 3D graphics) that is preventing PARALLELS from being the Holy Grail for all of us.
