Question about deleting Bootcamp partition

I've imported my Bootcamp partition using Parallels and I'm fairly certain everything is alright with it. So now I'm ready to format my original Bootcamp partition and get rid of it.

Before I do though I want to make absolutely sure that my imported Bootcamp VM is not referencing the original partition in any way.

How can I double check that my imported VM won't mess up when I get rid of the original partition?

I guess I'm just being really cautious, but I really don't want to format the Bootcamp partition, only to find out that the Parallels VM is all screwed up. I have backed up copies using Winclone as well, just to be safe.
