Using Suse 10.2 with Compiz-fusion and updating to 2204 brings back the old problem of transparent background in WinXP. Old solution was sudo gedit /usr/bin/parallels replace: run="/usr/lib/parallels/parallels-linux $@" with: run="XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 /usr/lib/parallels/parallels-linux $@" However, the new /usr/bin/parallels file is completely different and does not have the run= line. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have a temporary fix which is to set the KDE backgrouond color to black, but if you have an icon or other window open behind it, it still screws up. Art
