PW 6 with Ubuntu 11.10 host?

I know pw6 is only officially supported on ubuntu 10.10 and 11.4, but has anyone performed the experiment to see if is broken or just unsupported on 11.10?

Parallels Workstation 6 officially supports Ubuntu 11.10 host. Please check here the Readme file which contains more information on supported host operation systems.

Thanks Victor, that looks to be a very recent update, because the copy of the Parallels Workstation 6 README I downloaded on the day I bought it says
64-bit:
• Windows 7;
• Windows Vista SP1, SP2;
• Windows XP Pro SP2;
• Debian 6.0;
• Fedora 14, 15;
• RHEL 6, 6.1;
• SLED 11 SP1;
• Ubuntu 10.10, 11.04.

The copy you pointed me at does list 11.10 also now for 32 and 64.

 

current testing for Ubuntu 12.04 host??

Is testing currently going to try and get this running on Ubuntu 12.04, which is going to be the next Long Term Support Release?
