PVM name appended with multiple instances of (1)

I am running Parallels fro the mac v 5 on a new iMac with 8 GB of RAM.

I have different windows XP and Windows 7 PVMs. Each time I run a PVM the characters (1) are added to the name. After a few runs I get the folowing "Windows XP Pro (1) (1) (1) (1) (1)".

Any ideas how to prevent this?

This is a known issue and currently investigated. It is expected to be fixed with one of our future updates.

Same problem for me for years. My VM has 7 times (1) behind the name; how to remove them and get a clean VM
