MacBook Air M4 macOS 26.2 Parallels Desktop 26.2.2 (57373) Installed Debian 13 ARM version with KDE desktoop environment Installed Parallel Tools by copying the installer from the mounted CD to a folder in my home directory ~/Downloads/parallel_tools Ran the following command: sudo apt-get install -y dkms libelf-dev linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential Then did: sudo ./install The installer stated that it finished successfully. I rebooted and each time I log in, I get a dialog saying: /usr/lib/parallels-tools/installer/ptiagent-arm64 must be run as root! I changed my desktop session from Wayland to X11. Still get the dialog. Can NOT find any posts or articles by searching with DuckDuckGo or Google regarding this error.
