I have a problem that is occurring with increasing frequency. I used to blame it on an application I was using, but now I find it can happen even outside that app and when no app not running. I'm running Windows Vista in Parallels 4.0.3844. I've got about a gig of RAM allocated to the VM. I will be typing happily along in whatever the application is, for an hour or two, when suddenly some key will become the command for launching some program. Often typing "d" will launch Run, and in a new twist on the problem, the other day typing some key like "o" or "i" (can't remember which key, exactly) would launch Internet Explorer. I'm not talking about Control+D or Alt+D, but just "d". Restarting the VM will get rid of the problem until the next time the VM decides to do that, but I'd like a more permanent solution. Does anyone have an idea what the problem is and how I can fix it?
I'm am having the same problem. It has been happing for a long time, but it was so infrequent I didn't spend the time to see what was causing it. Now it is happening about every time I try to type anything. Did you even find a solution? Thanks, Eric
