I have been running Dynamics through Outlook successfully on Parallels for some time now. However, after the latest Parallels Tools update, Dynamics windows are blocked by a so called pop up blocker despite the fact that the Dynamics URL is registered as an accepted site for security purposes. The only way to address the problem is to roll back the system to just before the update happened so it is definitely a Parallels Tools issue. What does this update do that could tamper with the IE Browser / Outlook security. The Dynamics windows open normally when viewed via a Browser in the normal way so it is something to do with Outlook and the connector of CRM via Outlook. Every time I now fire up Windows 7 via Parallels I have to cancel the tools update to avoid the problem re occurring. Any thoughts? Regards Roland
Hi Roland. Did you ever solve this issue? I've got a similar one with Outlook 2013 and the Dynamics CRM plugin - no Dynamics windows will load. Hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction for a solution. Thanks, Dan
