Problems with macOS Guest Tools

After upgrading my VM to macOS 15.4.1, the guest tools don't appear to be functioning properly on my intel mac any longer. I am unable to see any shared folders, and I am unable to use commands such as `prlctl exec` or `prlctl enter` from the host machine.

I do not see this issue on my Apple Silicon machine - only on the intel ones. It happens on _EVERY_ intel machine after upgrading the VM to macOS 15.4.1 (I also saw it on 15.4). If I keep the OS as 15.3.1 or earlier, there are no issues.

I also see this on both Parallels Desktop 20.2.2 as well as 20.3.0.

I've tried reinstalling the guest tools (though there is no longer an "uninstall" option on the mounted disk image).

Are there other things I can try so that I can get my OS updated in these VMs?
