I had a Windows XP image that I had created for Virtual PC that made my life easier whenever a Mac user would buy VPC and Windows XP. All I had to do was drop the image on their system, start it, and enter their license info. The other day I tried converting this image with the beta Transporter for Mac. It started well enough, but now it won't accept any keyboard input. The Ctrl+Alt+Del from the menu doesn't work. It just sits at the login screen and the disk activity indicator flashes. Help!
Did you un-install the Virtual PC extensions before converting the VPC image? If you do not, all hell breaks loose
Where'd did that info come from I've been hunting to find detailed instructions for converting a VPC virtual machine to be usable with Parallels. This is the first I've seen that you have to uninstall VPC Additions. So, my question is, where did you find this information? And, then, is there any more information to help me to make this conversion? Thank you for whatever help and info you can provide. Dennis [email protected]
