Hello, I am using a MacMini with macOS Sierra installed and run Parallels Desktop 12 with an installed Windows 10 Pro on it. I bridged the Ethernet Port to receive an IP over DHCP from the Router. Also installed is a Smarthome software that is needed to program an attached smarthome module which controlls the lights and curtains at home. This software called "Gira" uses multicast to find the smarthome module (that uses an DHCP IP adress from my router). When I ping the IP adress I get a fast response, when I open up the IP in my browser I can open the web interface, but the software is unable to find it using multicast, sadly I cannot add the device in the software using an IP adress so it relies on a functional multicast discovery.

So what can I do to make it work, are there settings in the Parallels software or services in Windows 10 that I have to enable or would it help if I would connect an USB ethernet network adapter and attach it straight to the Windows Guest OS instead of just bridging the MacMini Gigibit LAN?

Please help me, I want to get rid of my slow and old Windows 7 Notebook which I only use atm to program the smarthome device.

    Thank in advance.

No suggestions or clues? Even if there is no solution at least I'd like to know...
