Problems Sharing content from Mac to Windows

Hi there,

So this is what happened, i got parallels 6 with my imac a year ago, and just yesterday i got windows 7 and installed it and everything, all was working perfectly, and all my mac desktop elements translated immediately to the windows desktop, and anything that happened to the mac desktop would happen to the windows desktop, it was great, then today, when i try to open parallels, it tells me that i didnt shut down the system properly ( you know, typical windows thing ) and i probably didnt, it was confusing enough to be using windows on a mac for the first time anyways, so i choose some repair system option that showed up ( you know the typical " start the system like usual or repair mode or whatever) and then, this plain looking windows desktop appeared, like empty brand new windows pc, all the items gone, and then on the mac side of things, when i try to open something from mac ( you know, windows icons with the red parallel bars on them ) it would try to load, but it would stay there like forever, so that back and forth relationship between mac and windows i had was entirely gone!! what should i do? I already tried restarting both systems.

Also, how can i make it so that i can use more RAM while using windows, the main reason im using windows on mac is to play Games.

Try to reinstall Parallels tools. Open Virtual Machine menu at the top of the screen --> Reinstall Parallels Tools
