    Hi Guys,

I am hoping someone can throw some light on my problem.

I cannot install Corel Graphic Suite 14 (X4) in Windows 7 on Parallels.

The issue is more than certainly caused by Parallels, as the program installs perfectly on other PC's running Windows.

When running the Corel X4 set up EXE file, it’s gets to about 70% and a dialog box appears saying ' Setup Stopped'.

No matter what I try it does the same thing every time, I have tried to remove Corel manually and re-install, also tried to repair the installation, with no effect.

Can anyone shed any light on this issue?

    Thanx Nick

System Details : Imac 27'' OSX, running Parallels Desktop v5, Virtual machine Windows 7 32bit

possibly you'll need to repair your registry (e.g. CCleaner wich is free). Do the other PCs on which you can install X4 without problems run Windows 7? Do you have enough Ram assigned to the VM to install X4 (can't imagine that should make a difference but who knows with Windows...)? Any antivirus software that might prevent the install? ...

    Good luck.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I have already tried those ideas.

Admittidly the other machines are running XP Pro, however X4 is designed and sold as the only Windows 7 Compatible version.

In addition the Corel x4 programe installs perfectly on Windows 7 in Bootcamp.

However is I have other issues with using Bootcamp, this is not a workable solution for me, which brings me back to Parallels.

    :(

Hm. Well if it runs ok in BootCamp you may want to install it there and then run Parallels off the BootCamp partition, have you tried that?
