    Here's the problem:

If I attempt to use the boot camp method of booting into windows, I am given an option to use parallels or the regular boot method - however, this is on a limited amount of time - like 1 second to choose. You have to use the keyboard - yet the keyboard doesn't work and so parallels is chosen for me.

Then, I get an error message saying that there is a missing or corrupted file: \system32\hal.dll

I've tried uninstalling Parallels, but no love there either.

My 15 day trial will run out at some point, and I'd like to be able to keep my boot camp partition!

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Also, If I need to explain anything further, I will.

    Thanks!
