    Need a little help...

    I'm using Parallels build 3224

Initial Windows XP profile allocated "8000 MBytes Expanding" as the size. Windows XP was constantly (every 15 seconds) complaining about "low disk space." I didn't understand why the "Expanding" nature of the disk wasn't taking care of the problem.

I used the Parallels Image Tool App to change the disk allocation to 16000MB Fixed size. The profile editor now shows a 16000 MB fixed disk, but when I start XP, it still sees the "C:" disk as 8000 MB and complains of low disk space.

Don't understand why the profile says 16000MB, the actual disk size of winxp.hdd is 16 GB and yet windows still thinks it has an 8000 MB disk.

    Ideas?

    Thank you

"Expanding" means the disk has size exactly the same as the amount of data placed on it. The more data you put on virtual disk, the more size disk has, but no more than initial disk size. Please, consult with Parallels Users Guide for more.

    Please, read this.
As an option, you can use any usual disk repartitioning utility as Acronis Disk Director.
