Hello, I just upgraded to 3.0, and AutoCAD 2006 is having cursor issues. The cursor jumps aound on the screen and is not stable. This is true whenever the cursor is in the autocad drawing window. I've tried adjusting the autocad display settings (tooltips, dynamic input, etc.), the Parallels mouse driver settings, and everything else I can think of (like coherance mode), but no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this? For now I have to go back to 2.x, which works fine. Thanks, David
You may try temporarily disabling Mouse Synchronizations when working with AutoCad. That will fix mouse behavior. To disable, open Parallels Tools Center in Windows XP via Start->Programs->Parallels->Parallels Tools. Select mouse synchronization in the left pane and disable the checkbox in the right one. We will be fixing this problem shortly.
Hello Tim: I did try that, and there was no improvement. In fact, ir made it worse. Take care, -dp- David
Autocad Does the same cursor bug exist for Autocad 2004 used with ver 3? Any ideas on when it might be fixed? Thanks.
I'm using AutoCAD2008 and I don't have the same issue. Did you run Prepare Parallel Tool For Upgrade prior to running the guest OS?
