Problem Running PD$ for the first time - win xp file missing?

I just upgraded from version 3 to version 4.

Upon loading the VM for the first time (Boot camp) I received the following error:

Windows could not start becuase the following file is missing
or corrupt:
<Windows root>\system32\hal.dll
Please re-install a copy of the above file.
--------------

If I hit a key, it just loops back to this message.

Has anyone seen this before?
