    PROBLEM: Parallels disables OSX Sharing

I am a local administrator on my MBP. When I boot up I can change pretty much anything. After launching parallels today (Beta 4) I find it disables Windows sharing, and that all admin-type functions are greyed out. Any attempt to authenticate fails. I have restarted several times, and can act as an admin until I boot up the VM.

I am on a domain which has some limited group policies, and I also installed Bonjour for Windows. I will try uninstalling Bonjour, although it will be a shame if that's the problem, as it makes sharing between the VM and host very elegant....

Its not bonjour. I have also tried a backup VM which I stored prior to Beta 4. Once the VM access the network Windows sharing on the host is disabled.

    I am using a VM with XPSP2, fully up-to-date.

My Mac is a MBP, 2.16GHz, 2GB RAM.

Judging from the response, this may not be an issue for others, but the Parallels team may (or perhaps may not) be interested.

I removed all Parallels components, restarted, reinstalled Beta 4 once again and find I have the same problem. Once I do anything on the VM needing network access (even launching Internet Explorer) Windows Sharing on the host gets disabled.

    Any ideas, Parallels?
