Problem: Office 2007 won't allow access to shared Parallels folder

    Hi, thanks in advance for any help.

    I'm running XP on a Boot Camp partition, with latest version of Parallels 2. I have both Office 2003 and 2007 installed. When I try to access my Parallels shared folder from within Word 2007, I get a window requiring a username and password. Word 2003 and other apps and the Windows Finder equivalent all access the shared folder with no problem. Is there something I'm missing?

    Any solution much appreciated!

    My guess is that office 2007 has reworked some of its security plumbing and there's little you can do. I'd look at possibly lowering the security level but to be honest I couldn't locate anything thanks to MS by using the ribbon thingy
