    Hey Guys,

maybe anyone can help me. I have Parallels 8 on my Mac. A few months ago I bought a new MBP and installed/restored my data and install files from the old MBP. After restoring I had to reactivate Software like MS Office and stuff like that. Also my Version of Parallels 8, so I activated it, but every time I try to start a VM an error occurs which says "Problem ID: 44" no processor capable of Hardware Virtualization found running VM on one processor. When Parallels tries to start it hangs up and I get the error ID:44. I already deleted parallels and reinstalled it. I already tried: http://kb.parallels.com/de/113936

3 Months ago I opened a ticket when the error occured the first time, but parallels didn´t fix it, and/or I got no solution. Not that kind of support I expect when I buy software.

I installed much software and the fine configuration of every part would take a whole week, so if anyone has a solution which will bypass reinstalling the whole system I would be glad.

    Hi Milkreis,

Please try the steps outlined below:

    1. Uninstall Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac.
    2. Open Disk Utility application on Mac > choose Mac HD there > click Repair Disk Permissions.
    3. Download Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac from here: http://www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd8
    4. Install Parallels Desktop.
    5. Start your Virtual Machine.

If you still are unable to start your Virtual Machine, then submit a problem report ID following: http://kb.parallels.com/9058

    Thanks,
    Looran
