My Parallels 6 on my rather new MacBookPro has never really worked and I am just now trying to focus on why. Right now it sometimes starts Win 7 but then I get an error that states that more login information may be required and the cursor doesn't show up. I have to manually shut down the machine to get back to MacOS. Now the Parallels will not even start and I see that Activity Monitor is telling me prl_vm is at 97%. I frequently see finder at 100% CPU (101.3% etc) and always have the multi-colored pinwheel hanging up MacOS on this machine. I see that there have been some posts on prl_vm but I am new to mac, new to parallels and not all that technically sophisticated in these areas. Does this require an uninstall and reinstall at this point? Is there an easy way to just get this Parallels software off my machine so I can get back to getting work done and deal with this at a later date? My MacPro is in the shop and this is my only machine at this point... Thanks. Jonathan
