I've been using Parallels 5.0 for a few months now on my MacBook Pro and it's been great. Unfortunately, I experienced my first problem tonight, and it's a major one. My system OS is Snow Leopard 10.4.6, and I have two virtual machines, Windows XP Pro SP3 and Kubuntu 10.04. The XP machine still works perfectly. Kubuntu worked perfectly for the past few months as well, until tonight. I had been doing some work in the Kubuntu vm and I suspended it. When I went to restart it, it just hung on the screen showing the VM name. I hit the esc button, and I got a screenful of messages. The one that seems to detail the problem is:

Loading Parallels Filesystem Freeze driver: FATAL: Module prl_fs_freeze not found

The next line just says failed, then Starting Parallels tools daemon: done

    That's where the system hangs.

Two other messages look suspicious as well:

init: Failed to spawn smbd main process: unable to execute: No such file or directory
Not starting jetty - edit /etc/default/jetty and change NO_START to be 0 (or comment it out).

I'm really hoping someone can help me figure this one out, I have no clue what the problem is, and I have data that I need to recover if at all possible. Any and all comments, suggestions, ideas, help will be gratefully appreciated!

P.S. If anyone's willing to try helping me with this, I can try to post an actual screenshot of the error messages tomorrow.
