prl_disp_service causing slow shutdowns on MBP

Hi I have Parallel Desktop installed on both my iMac and Macbook Pro. However, my Macbook Pro has a shutdown timing of 1 minute and 10 seconds whereas my iMac has a shutdown timing of 5 seconds. Once I quit prl_disp_service via the Activity Monitor on my MBP, it shuts down a lot faster, 1 second to be exact. May I know why this is happening on my MBP and not on my iMac and how can I prevent this from starting upon boot up if possible or how can I shutdown without having to constantly quit it first?
