Hi, I am running Parallels Desktop 9 with a Windows 7 Professional (SP1) guest OS and am having issues when printing anything from IE10. I have tried printing from Acrobat Reader (on the guest OS) and it prints fine so I think it is an issue with my IE10 setup. When I go to print from IE10 it all looks ok in the print preview window but the printed result misses off the right 15% and the bottom 15% of the page (I have attached a PDF print showing what I mean). I am getting this result both with the 2 network samsung printers I have and when using CutePDF and it is starting to drive me nuts! I have played about with all the printer settings I can find but to no avail, but I am not sure it is a printer setting issue as other windows programs can print fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Will
Hi Will, Please follow the steps as suggested below: 1. (Re)Install Parallels Tools as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/4841 2. Please Follow the steps provided at http://kb.parallels.com/4886 to (re)configure a Network Printer on Windows Virtual Machine and let us know how does it work.
I just upgraded to Parallels Desktop 10 and still have this issue (I am assuming that the upgrade would have installed new versions of Parallels Tools). The network printer bit is not an issue as I have the problem when just using cutePDF to print directly to a PDF file. It works fine from other applications but from IE it crops the page.
