Printing Bug in Parallels Desktop 6

I have had this weird printing bug since I installed Parallels 6. I have my Windows 7 VM configured to connect directly to my Mac Printer (an HP Deskjet 6988) which is on my wireless network. I can print fine from the Mac side, but the first time I attempt to print anything from my Windows 7 VM, I get an error message on my Mac printer and it doesn't print. However, if I then try to reprint the same job, it prints without problems and then any other print job works fine until I shut down my VM and restart it again, and I then get the same error. This is quite annoying! I sent an email to Parallels Support, but my experience with them has not been particularly useful, so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if so, what's the solution? I've thought about installing bonjour for windows and using that to print, but I would much rather have the more elegant solution of printing directly to the Mac printer. Any suggestions?
