I have a client running 10.4 on a new imac (i am a computer consultant), also running parallels 3.0 build 5160. She is running two accounting applications under windows xp under parallels: one app is called multiledger, another one is called fundeasy. She is also running ms office 2004 on the apple side of things. she is also using an hp c5180 printer connected via a usb cable. She can print to the printer from the mac side of things, and she can also print to the printer from the pc accounting apps running under parallels. however, if she prints from one of the pc accounting apps, then tries to print from excel/word/acrobat from the mac side of things, the print jobs fail. The reverse is also true: if she tries to print from excel/word/acrobat on the mac side of things, and then tries to print from the pc accounting apps, the print job fails. She does not experience any printing problems when parallels is not running. so the problem only occurs when she alternates printing from the mac side of things to the pc side of things. Any ideas on what the problem might be here? thanks.
