I have Windows XP and Mac 10.6. And Epson Stylus Photo 610 printer.

To print from one OS to the other, I must turn disconnect the printer, or turn off the printer and sometimes the computer.

How can I print from both sides without disconnecting and turning off and restarting?

Printing on both sides OK, but not scanning

You have solved my problem of PRINTING on both sides of my computer (Windows, Mac OS) without any disconnecting or rebooting.

However, to SCAN on the Windows side, I must disconnect and reconnect the printer/scanner.

Is there a way to SCAN on the other side without disconnecting?

    Hi GuntherB,
you can disconnect the device connected over USB without physical reconnecting. In Parallels Desktop, from menu Devices > USB you can attach/detach devices to/from your virtual machine. Using scanner simultaneously on both sides is not possible.
