Preparing for Recovery

    It took me a week to get back to Parallels 3 after my disastrous attempt to use Parallels 4.

    I'm getting antsy to try Parallels 4 again. Is there any written procedures that would make it easier to recover a working version of Parallels and my VM should my problem not be fixed?

    As a first step it is necessary to backup Virtual machine, either during conversion or before Parallels Desktop v 4 installation
    Uninstall any custom mouse and keyboard drivers from VM
    Check for viruses ,
    If there are problems create ticket in support
    and also make sure you have the latest version 4 from http://parallels.com current build 3540
