If this could become a possibility for linux I'd love it, that way we can code changes to allow us to use parallels tools with recent versions of the kernel, xorg, etc... Some of tools are already editable but things like libglx.so, the video, and mouse drivers are all stuck on older versions of their respective software. Also, I've noticed some GNU strings in a couple of the tools using 'vi,' if these tools are compiled from sources of one of the older licenses I'm under the impression the license mandates that you release the source files. Just something to think about. I hope you guys will seriously consider this. Also, having the sources forge these files would allow us to compile static libraries therefore increases speed on slower systems.
