Poor performance trying to run a game on Parallels

Hi guys,

I am facing an issue on playing on my parallels trying to run the game Age of Empires II definitive edition.
It mentions my computer does not have enough VRAM (at least 1GB), which is untrue. (see screenshots)
I have even seen a smooth running of the game on a Macbook Air m1 chip(2020).

Kindly inform how to get this issue fixed.

Look at the graphics memory in Parallels Configuration for your Windows VM:
Hardware (tab) -> Graphics (item) -> Memory (combo box). I have mine set to 2GB. Your's may have been set to Auto or something lower than 2GB.

 

I just changed this to 8GB, but still getting the error message when starting up the game. Any clue?

 

This error still occurs...

 

I'm out of ideas.
