Poor Performance Playing Games

I am running a brand new 16" MacBook Pro M1 Max 10 core CPU with 32Gb RAM. Any native Mac OS games are running perfectly as you'd expect with a computer this powerful however all windows games using Parallels and Windows 11 are completely unplayable. They start and run but are so laggy and slow they are not playable. I have my CPU & Memory configured at 6 CPU and 16GB RAM and Games Only. I am currently running the 14 day trial Parallels but a licenced and paid for Windows 11. Please advise how to resolve this performance issue. If I can resolve this then I will pay for the Parallels licence however if not resolved then clearly I won't be paying for software that doesn't work correcly.
