I currenty have an old Polar 610 HRM with the old USB 1.0 IR. It does not work in Parallels.

I am currently considering buying a new Polar HRM for use with XP in a Parallels VM running on Mac w/version 3188.

Does anyone have any of the following configurations successfully working?

Polar IrDA USB adapter OR the Bodytronics USB IrDA device
    Polar ProTrainer 5 software

and any of the following HRMs...

    S625X
    RS400SD
    RS800SD

    Thanks!!!

    OK I got it working.

    XP
    Polar RS800SD
Bodytronics USB IrDA interface (there are two similar looking models, you have to get the right one)
    ProTrainer 5 SW

You must install the Bodytronics device before installing the ProTrainer 5. You just have to plug it in to a USB port while XP is running and connect it to your VM. XP will automatically install the right drivers. You do not have to install drivers from the CD-ROM.
