PLEASE HELP! Streaming music application continues to hang

    Hi everyone -

    I am running Parallels (1848) and Win XP Pro SP2. The problem that I seem to run into is that after a period of time, On Demand from MusicMatch hangs. This has happened anywhere from after 7 songs to after 55 songs. There does not seem to be any pattern to when this happens although, it eventually always happens even when Parallels is the only application running (hard disk is set to not hibernate, but monitor will turn off after an hour).

    I have checked the Windows Eventlogs and there are no new logs around the time that the application hangs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Windows and Music Match. I have tried MusicMatch version 9 and 10. The problem persists. I have monitored my windows logs and at the time of the crash the PhysicalDisk reading and writing time will spike to 100%. This is odd because I did not think streaming music would require the PhysicalDisk.

    My only theory at this point in time is that my MacBook (2 x 512 processors) is requiring too many resources.

    Has anyone run into this problem? Any ideas of what steps I should take from here?
