Hello everyone. For those of you trying to use the Philips Speechmike under Parallels I have a solution. The solution is to use a combination of parallels and bootcamp. Install bootcamp from the apple beta download site, install windows XP in the bootcamp partition, set up the Philips drivers from their website and install the mic, then set up Parallels to use your bootcamp installation of XP. Works like a charm for me and I don't have to boot out of OS X. This will probably work for the Powerscribe Dictaphone/Nuance microphone as well as I am using the Speechmike with Powerscribe currently.
