Performance impact of disk compression in Win XP Guest?

    I generally use disk compression in Windows - in a lot of cases with fast CPUs, performance is actually improved.

    Given the disk IO overhead vs very fast Intel Dual Core execution, disk compression should have advantages in Parallels guests. Can anybody confirm this?

    Any issues with it?
