    I am currently running 2 VM's:
XP Pro SP2, Fat32, 2Gb RAM assigned, 128Mb Video Mem assigned, Visual Studio Pro 2008
Vista Premium, NTFS, 2Gb RAM assigned, 128Mb Video Mem assigned, Visual Studio Pro 2008

When I create a simple "Hello World" C# application in XP & debug it everything runs fine. When I create the same application in Vista it runs ok, but when I start navigating the IDE the whole window content goes white for a couple of seconds before displaying the relevant info. It does it pretty consistently. It's getting so annoying that I am resorting to using the XP Pro VM to develop in the meantime.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

As an aside, my Vista VM is new (only just bought Vista) and I noticed that the size of the VM is twice that of the XP one (40Gb as opposed to 20Gb for the XP one) is this normal?

I can see it on real Vista too, it usually means lack of resources,
Start only Vista VM, with 1.5 gb of memory, set theme to Classic, disable all themes (including themes service) and check
