My working PC is currently and most probably for another 1.5 years Ubuntu-Hardy-amd64. As PW v2.2 was never available in a 64-bit version I migrated to VBox and ported all guests tro VBox. I however would prefer to move back to Parallels as soon as Hardy-amd64 is supported as a host (in fact I do expect that as Parallels is a Canonical-partner and v2.2 hasn't been maintained since long). In that case the keyboard issue will have to be fixed anyway. Any plans for that? Ingo
Ingo, We're aware of keyboard issue and it's planned to be fixed in one of the upcoming updates. As for Ubuntu-Hardy-amd64 support, even though it's not in the official list - we're not aware of any compatibility issues with that host. Did you face any problems using Parallels Desktop 4 for Linux there ? Thank you, Max
> Did you face any problems using Parallels Desktop 4 for Linux there ? No, actually I didn't try out, because I wanted to report only bugs with officially supported hosts, so I tried all on Lenny-amd64. As I cannot use Parallels Desktop 4 as long as keyboard issue isn't fixed, I moved it to /dev/null when the trial key expired. So, for the time beeing I stay with VBox 3.0.6 for daily work and keep Parallels Workstation 2.2 on a separat partition/installation with Hardy-i386 as host - just in case;-) Please let me know when keyboard issue is fixed, Ingo
