With PD 4, I installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus for the first time. Part of the Windows experience of course is dedicating x% of your CPU to fighting viruses and being annoyed by the anti-virus popups all the time. Anyway after the upgrade to PD 4 my terminal emulation (TN3270) connection would be lost after a number of minutes of inactivity. I found that by turning off Kaspersky, that my terminal application kept the connection active as it had before upgrading to PD 4. I was about ready to wipe out the new release and go back to PD 3 figuring a new build would be needed, not just a workaround like the SUDO command I had to enter to get networking to work.

I'll check in Kaspersky for a way for it to ignore this one application. I just thought I'd report a success story in case it helps others.

Disable Kaspersky's firewall, use Windows one instead.
