Booting Windows on my Intel Mac, after upgrading to Beta 5, Windows "found" a new device: Other PCI Bridge. I let it go find the driver, including Windows Update in the new hardware search, and it couldn't find it. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have advice? HardlyNoticable.
I have the same experience booting Win2K on my MBP, but I too am not sure of the smartest way to react to it.
PCI Bridge Temp Fix Although it's not a big annoyance, here's how you can get the "Found New Hardware" wizard to go away in Windows 2000: 1. Click the "Device Manager" button (-- or right-click My Computer, Manage, Device Manager) 2. Double-click the "Other PCI Bridge Device" yellow question mark 3.
