    Hi everyone

I've got a Duel-Adapter PCI-e to Cardbus adapter, which works natively under OSX 10.5... but I want to pass it through to my Windows VM because I use a Magma PCI extender loaded with SCSI and fibre HBAs, and also a Sierra AC875 wireless card. I want to ditch my Dell laptop completly, and this is the only thing stopping me.

Has anyone else done this? I did a search and didn't find anything. I can't use the wireless card natively because there isn't a Leopard compatible driver yet.

    This is the product: http://www.duel-systems.com/products/adapters.aspx

I am betting that you will need support IN the host OS (Leopard in this case) prior to passing the card to Parallels, as the connection in the guest OS piggybacks off of the OS X connection.

Correct. The OS can use the adapter OK.

There's no Profiler entry for the card though. :( It's supposed to come up as an AirCard. So not a Parallels problem... but I'd love to hear from anyone else who has one of these adapters.

Yea, it sounds like OS X just doesn't support it... See if there is any-way you can get OS X support for the card.

Would BootCamp be a working alternative for you?
