    ASUS P5B WiFi/AP (Intel 965 chipset)
    HD: Seagate 320GB SATA
    DVD: Plextor DVD-R SATA
    Video: Nvidia 7950GT (eVGA)
    RAM: 2GB

    1) installed Ubuntu 6.10 RC
    2) updated all packages via Synaptics to be up to date
    3) downloaded/built/ran 2.6.18.1
    4) download Parallels 2.2 for Linux as .deb
    5) relink /bin/sh to /bin/bash (Ubuntu seems to have linked sh to dash)
    6) run parallels-config, everything seems to install fine
    7) run parallels. It comes up. Try to create a new VM, start the VM, and it segfaults. I also get a segfault just on exiting Parallels (by clicking on the close (x) button)

    Here's the message I got:

    martin@martin:~/Desktop/parallels-2.2.2092-lin$ sudo parallels

If you need more info, please let me know. I'd like to purchase a license, so if anyone can help me get this running, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks.
