I have a Windows program that is updating files on \\Mac\Home\Documents; when the program does its work and exits, I immediately see the new date/time in my Mac Finder but in Windows Explorer it still shows the old date/time and what's worse, if I double-click on the file in Windows it actually loads the old version of the file! If I manually refresh Windows Explorer it shows the correct date/time and double-clicking brings up the new version of the file.
Apparently Parallels/Windows is caching files, and not noticing that I've updated them ??!!

p.s. If instead of writing to files on \\Mac\Home\Documents I write to Y:\ (which is what Windows has mapped \\Mac\Home\Documents to) it works correctly.

We would like to know if you are facing the issue only with certain application or all the application.

If I open the created file inside the application that created it, it shows the wrong (old) version of the file; in addition, if I double-click on the file in Windows Explorer it also brings up the wrong (old) version of the file.

I don't know of any other applications that allow me to create files using the UNC naming convention.
