Running Parallels 6.0 on MBP 4.1; 10.6.7; Windows 7. After closing the VM window and selecting "shut down virtual machine," CPU usage by "Parallels VM" fails to drop to normal levels, remaining at 60% to 70% as reported by activity monitor. Cooling fan continues to operate vigorously until I use activity monitor to force quit "Parallels VM." Anyone else experience this? Seems like a possible but, but I don't see anything in the forums or online suggesting that others are having the same issue. Or am I just not waiting long enough for the app to shut itself down. Seems like it will not as fan and CPU usage remain high for many minutes until I force quit it. Any constructive thoughts on this issue would be appreciated.
