When you ask customers to upgrade at a price, regardless what is the price, you ought to make it easier for them to see what differences, new features, improvements, changes they can expect in the new edition. I have upgraded each time from version 1 to version 7. Sometimes, I see improvements, sometimes I don't. I observed when installing version 7 that there is a very long, comprehensive and informative list of everything thats new in version 7. Why don't you make this list a part of the announcement and solicitation you send out?
The upgrade price is reasonable enough, no complaint with that. But I should be able to see what's new in that kind of detail BEFORE I buy it, not after. And the list that appears in the installer is far better than poking around the web site looking for information in What's New (which is not nearly as complete).
