Boy, wouldn't it be nice if at then end of the Parallels Tools install it let you select something like "Don't restart now, I'll restart later" or simply "Shutdown"?
I have more than one VM on my MBP, and when I upgrade Parallels, I have to re-install Parallels Tools on each VM, which means starting each VM, letting Parallels Tools recognize it's out of version and do an upgrade, but then it wants to Restart. Dumb, when all I want it to do is Shutdown, so I can fire up the next VM that needs its Parallels Tools upgraded.
It doesn't get more niggling or minor than this, so I completely understand if it never makes it to the code base, but it is the minor things at which Parallels excels, so one can but hope!
