I'm exceptionally new to all of this, so please forgive my ignorance.
I'm running Parallels 10.2.0 on my mac (Yosemite 10.10.2). I've been running CentOS (7) for a few weeks and everything was fine. Today I got a message that said I needed to update Parallels Tools. I tried to do that, but it failed. So I restarted the machine. Now when I try to run CentOS, it hangs while booting at:
    OK Started GNOME Display Manager.
There are some files that I really don't want to lose so I tired to mount the VM with Parallels Mounter (10.2.0), but when I try that nothing happens. It just won't mount.
I'm at a loss. I have no clue what to do! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ditto, this happened to me today also. I'd be interested in any help recovering the VM as well.

I actually called Parallels and opened a ticket with them regarding this issue. It's been escalated two times now, and I'm waiting to hear back. I'll let you know when I hear back.
