After updating to Parallels 7.15104, Parallels Tools does not install.
On every Windows 7 guest boot (the only VM I have), it starts to install and then hangs at 15%. It hangs until it times out and suggests a reboot. After the reboot it does the same.

I tried every tip I could find on the Parallels pages:
    - Reinstall Parallels.
    - Mount the iso image of the Parallels tools manually and try to remove the tools and reinstall. It ended up with a "Failed to create "root enumerated device" error message"
    - Went to the Temp folder inside Windows OS (the path in article 111971 is incorrect for Windows 7), deleted the prl_pv folder and tried again - the same results.

Restarts in between these attempts to clear the system did not help either.

I now can sort of work. Disk access is very slow, my shared PC/Mac disk is not a drive as it was before but a folder on the network - all connections are much slower and all old pathes are not working.

    Please help!

Please contact Parallels Tech support. Issue seems to be specific and needs to be investigated in place. I'm afraid i won't be able to give you any advice without a closer look. go to www.parallels.com/support/request

I do have the same problem here.
My host runs at 10.6.8 - and after 2 hours, Parallels Tools Installation Agent is at 60% and shows no activity at windows task manager for a while...

This happens with every update of parallels...

    Ciao

Problems with PT installation usually mean you probably have corrupted Windows Vm. some registry entries might be messed up and some system files missed. It happens with Windows after a long use of some viruses.
